I am originally from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. I completed my high school from International
Indian School, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 1997. Following high school, I got my Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. After graduation, I went back to India and got a master's in Space Engineering and Rocketry with specialization in Aerodynamics from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. In 2008, I started working at the Florida Center for Advanced Aero-Propulsion (FCAAP) (formerly Advanced Aero-Propulsion Laboratory (AAPL)) of the Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL. I got my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in December 2013. I have held post-doctoral positions at FCAAP and the Aerospace Research Center of the Ohio State University.
I work as an Assistant Teaching Professor with the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Syracuse University. I can communicate in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Turkish. Besides
teaching and research my hobbies are engaging in sports and traveling.
